Regent Brass are a British Brass Band, based at Chalk Farm, North London. Musical Director is Alan Duguid, and the band is currently in the Championship Section of the National Grading Tables. We rehearse on Thursdays from 1930, at the Salvation Army church, Chalk Farm, NW3 2BL.
Regent Community Brass was formed in 2012 as an expansion to the Regent Bands and welcomed our musical director Simon Tong in December 2021. If you are interested in playing with us, we rehearse on Tuesday in East Finchley.
On Friday 15th March, both Regent Brass bands took to the stage at the Church of the Ascension to perform at the latest in their regular concert series there along with soprano Tracy King and her accompanist Li Lin Teoh. On Saturday 2nd March, the band performed alongside the highly-regarded Finchley Chamber Choir to present an evening of “English Music for Choir and Brass”. Despite being based only 7 miles apart, the two ensembles had never previously performed together which meant this was a very exciting collaboration.
