Regent Brass are a British Brass Band, based at Chalk Farm, North London. Musical Director is Alan Duguid, and the band is currently in the Championship Section of the National Grading Tables. We rehearse on Thursdays from 1930, at the Salvation Army church, Chalk Farm, NW3 2BL.
Regent Community Brass was formed in 2012 as an expansion to the Regent Bands and welcomed our musical director Simon Tong in December 2021. If you are interested in playing with us, we rehearse on Tuesday in East Finchley.
On Sunday 19th May, both Regent bands made the journey south to Crawley to compete at the SCABA Entertainment Contest. For Regent Community Brass, it was their first experience of this type of format and the band put on a very confident show of their Beatles-themed programme. On 18th May, members of Regent Community Brass joined forces with neighbouring band North London Brass to participate in a workshop led by conductor Alan Duguid, assisted by Regent solo horn, Martin Pearce.
