Regent Brass are a 28 piece Brass Band based in Wembley, North West London. Founded in 1985 to cater for young brass players in Brent that had left the youth set-up, Regent Brass has since risen to the top of the brass band scene.

SCABA Contest Success for RCB

Under new MD Chris Bearman, Regent Community Brass competed in the annual SCABA Autumn contest at Crawley on 28th September. Competing in the Second Section, the band were placed second overall against 4 other bands on the day by Adjudicator Mike Kilroy.  The band also took home two special awards, The Best Horn Section award, and Bryan Long, Solo Horn took the Best Solo Horn trophy. Musical Director Appointed

Regent Community Brass are delighted to announce that Chris Bearman will be their new Musical Director.  Chris works as a freelance musician, performing on tuba and as a conductor and teacher.  A graduate of Trinity College of Music, Chris has a wealth of experience working with top brass bands and other professional ensembles such as Superbrass, Grimethorpe Colliery Band and many others. Regent off to the Spring Festival

Regent return to the Spring Festival for the first time in many years.  Having accepted invite to compete in the Senior Trophy, the band have been working hard on the set test, Frank Wright’s arrangement of Berlioz’ Judges of the Secret Court since our appearance in the London and Southern Counties area championships. Regional Contest Update

Sunday March 16th saw both Regent Brass and Regent Community Band travel to the Gordon Craig Leisure Centre in Stevenage to participate in their respective sections of the London and Southern Counties area qualifiers for the Brass Band National Finals. Annual Meeting 2014

Regent Brass held its Annual General Meeting for 2014 on 30th January 2014. Festive Brass Success

On Sunday 15th December, Regent Brass traveled down to Twickenham for their annual performance at “Festive Brass”, hosted by the Richmond Music Trust and Regent’ Flugel Horn, Vickie Curran. Once again, the band joined forces with Fulham Brass and the Richmond Youth Brass Band to put on a varied and exciting programme of music, which was well received by the audience.
