On Sunday 10th November, both Regent Brass and Regent Community Brass participated in two different Remembrance Sunday services at two separate locations in London.
Regent Community Brass joined forces with the Richmond Youth Brass Band to perform for the first time at the Radnor Gardens in Twickenham at what was a very well-attended event. The two bands marched from the local Royal British Legion building down to the park for the morning service, which was attended by local dignitaries including the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills, Vince Cable! Regent Brass once again led the London Borough of Brent’s afternoon parade and service in Barham Park, Sudbury. The band performed well through the day and the music was warmly recieved by those in attendance.
Both bands were very proud to participate in these service for such an important day and hope to do so again next year.
