After playing with the band over the summer, Barbara King has agreed to join the band on Principal Cornet. Barbara is a well-known soloist in the south-east of England having previously played principal with the Aveley and Newham and Medway bands.
Sadly, we also say goodbye to our Bass Trombonist, Kevin Dymond. Kev has been a member of the band since joining in 2003 and has been a key member of the trombone section over this time.
To fill the vacant Bass Trombone chair however, the band is delighted to welcome Paul Van Uden back to the band. Paul has been a member of the band for a number of years, but had moved away for work but is now back! Hurrah!.
