Regent Brass are a British Brass Band, based at Chalk Farm, North London. Musical Director is Alan Duguid, and the band is currently in Section 1 of the National Grading Tables. We rehearse on Thursdays from 1930, at the Salvation Army church, Chalk Farm, NW3 2BL.

Regent Community Brass

Regent Community Brass was formed in May 2012 to provide an outlet for local musicians, both young and old, to get involved in playing with a brass band. The band rehearses on Tuesdays from 1930, at the Church of the Ascension, Wembley. The band competes in Section 3 of the National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain.

Chris Bearman has reluctantly announced his resignation from Regent Community Brass. His final engagement will be the planned Christmas Concert in December. Chris has led the band to notable successes since his appointment in 2014. As Regent’s community focussed band, the band has enjoyed a number of excellent concerts as well as notable contest results, including an outstanding First Place in the French Open contest in Amboise, France. Regent were delighted to take part in the annual concert series, ‘Brass on the Grass’ at Westminster Abbey gardens on Wednesday, 11th August. The popular concert series, which is hosted by the Dean and Chapter of Westminster Abbey, is an event which the band has been associated with for several years. Regent Brass are delighted to announce that our band rehearsals are returning, from Thursday 3rd June 2021. We are also delighted to announce that we have a new rehearsal venue – The Salvation Army Church – Chalk Farm, at 10-16 Haverstock Hill, Chalk Farm, London NW3 2BL. Alan Duguid is confirmed as the new Musical Director of Regent Brass with immediate effect. Alan is a Scottish conductor and composer, based in London. A native of Aberdeen, Alan attended the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama.
