The first time John Berryman adjudicated Regent Brass was in 1985 (the band’s 3rd contest), he placed us 2nd out of 14 in the 4th Sectionat the the old Watford contest. He also awarded us 1st in the 2nd Section at Thurrock in 1989 and 2nd in the Championship Section of the same contest, more recently he placed us 5th out of 9 at the Leicester Contest in 2010 playing Diversions on a Bass on a Bass Theme.
Over the last 20 years only 5 bands have actually won the L&SC Championship Section
