Sad Farewell

Sadly the band has had to bid farewell to a member who has contributed a great deal to our success of the last couple of years as 2nd cornet player, Natasha Newson, has relocated to North Shields near Newcastle. New players at Regent

Regent Brass are pleased to announce the signing of two new players ahead of the London & Southern Counties Area Contest. Joining the band on Bass Trombone is Phil Barnes. Phil brings a wealth of experience to the band, having played with the Luton Band in the top section in the past. Regent Brass hand out annual Awards

The band held its Annual General Meeting on 24th January, where the members elected their committee representatives for the coming year. As part of the meeting, the band also held the “Presentation of Awards” for 2012, for “Bandsman of the Year” and “Player of the Year”. Remembrance Sunday

The band were once againĀ honoredĀ to be a part of the Brent Remembrance Sunday Service on 11th November. The event took place at the Brent War Memorial in Barham Park and was a highly poignant and touching service. The Last Post was sounded by David Quinlan and the band rounded off the day with a performance of “We’ll Meet Again”.
