On 16th December, members of the band traveled to Ruislip to perform alongside the fantastic Capital Connection choir at their Christmas concert for the first time. Due to space restrictions in the venue, a reduced 10-piece ensemble performed a short programme of music and accompanied the choir and audience singing several Christmas carols. The choir, lead by Debi Cox, performed a very diverse range of pieces with great energy and panache, which really showed off their talents as a Barbershop Harmony ensemble.

The band’s programme of “Marching the Blues”, “The Shadow of your Smile” (featuring Vickie Curran on the Flugelhorn), “Annen Polka” and “Kalinka” was well received by the audience and we hope to have the chance to perform there again in the future.
