Regent were delighted to take part in the annual concert series, ‘Brass on the Grass’ at Westminster Abbey gardens on Wednesday, 11th August. Regent Brass are delighted to announce that our band rehearsals are returning, from Thursday 3rd June 2021. We are also delighted to announce that we have a new rehearsal venue – The Salvation Army Church – Chalk Farm, at 10-16 Haverstock Hill, Chalk Farm, London NW3 2BL. Alan Duguid is confirmed as the new Musical Director of Regent Brass with immediate effect. Alan is a Scottish conductor and composer, based in London. A native of Aberdeen, Alan attended the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. Alan has worked with a number of bands in the UK and overseas, including the Aveley and Newham Band, Bon-Accord Silver Band, Redbridge Brass, Aarhus Brass Band and Tokyo Brass Accord.
