Regent Brass was founded by a collective of brass musicians under the leadership of Paul Fensom in 1985 and is based in the London Borough of Brent. Since then, the band has gone from strength to strength, showcasing its talents by giving regular performances at a wide range of different events.

SCABA Autumn Contest

Regent Community Brass once again made the trip down to The Hawth theatre in Crawley on Sunday 29th September to perform at the SCABA Autumn Contest. At this competition, bands had to play an “Own-choice” test piece in their relevant section, for which the band chose to perform Simon Dobson’s atmospheric “Penlee”, written in memory of the 1981 Cornish lifeboat disaster. Sudbury Arts Festival

On Saturday 28th September, Regent Community Brass performed in Butlers Green, Sudbury Town, as part of the Sudbury Arts Festival. Despite braving some rather variable weather, the band performed a wide range of popular classics to the growing crowd, from the title music to the film “Born Free” through to “You’ll Never Walk Alone” from the musical “Carousel”.
