Storm Arwen no match for Regent

After a two-and-a-half-year hiatus, Regent Brass finally made a return to the contesting circuit last weekend as we took part in the Scottish Challenge trophy, which is part of the annual Festival of Brass, organised by the Scottish Brass Band Association (SBBA). Chris Bearman has reluctantly announced his resignation from Regent Community Brass. His final engagement will be the planned Christmas Concert in December. Chris has led the band to notable successes since his appointment in 2014. Regent were delighted to take part in the annual concert series, ‘Brass on the Grass’ at Westminster Abbey gardens on Wednesday, 11th August. The popular concert series, which is hosted by the Dean and Chapter of Westminster Abbey, is an event which the band has been associated with for several years.
